UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – All season long the Lady Roaring Lions had been focusing on the “Stairway to Seven,” – a paraphrase of the Led Zeppelin song “Stairway to Heaven,” – as it marched toward it’s unprecedented seventh-consecutive PSUAC Women’s Volleyball title.
LEMONT FURNACE – For the seventh consecutive year, the Lady Roaring Lions are headed to the PSUAC women’s volleyball championship match. Fayette punched its ticket to the finals with a hard-fought 3-0 win over a gallant Penn State Greater Allegheny squad.
LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. – Penn State Fayette’s women’s volleyball team took another step toward its seventh-consecutive Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference title with a convincing 3-0 win over Penn State New Kensington in the quarterfinals of the PSUAC tournament on Wednesday evening at Fayette.
LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. – The Lady Roaring Lions continued to roll in the PSUAC winning all four matches over the weekend. On Saturday, Fayette defeated Penn State Hazelton and Penn State Lehigh Valley by identical 3-0 scores.
New Kensington, Pa. – Emily Konter (Brownsville, Pa.) put her name into the record books, when the senior notched the 2,078th career assist as the Lady Roaring Lions defeated Penn State New Kensington 3-0 on Sept. 24.
